I’m shocked that there isn’t more French. I feel like everything below 23rd st is Italian or French.

i’m shocked the east village is indian. i live in the ‘hood, and have counted between 16-18 indian places, which are of course on or around 6th street. but there are definitely more italian places than indian, especially if you count pizza.

heather – that block of Indian is Murray Hill. East village is Japanese and Italian.
This is pretty cool! I would have guess a couple like Mexican in East Harlem and Indian in Murray Hill (I mean Curry Hill) but Argentine in UES? Never would have guessed!
