Well, they say that no reference is too obscure in the Googlepedia age, but I’m stumped. No idea what this is all about. Please, no one clue me in. Let those who know have a moment of inside-joke superiority.

Oh man this is my favorite painting at the MOMA (that and the Waterlilies – maybe there should be a follow up game? Like Frogger, but you have to dodge brushstrokes, or deteriorating realism? Fogger?) Also, this reminds me of http://www.bogost.com/blog/cow_clicker_1.shtml

For those who are confused, the painting is Christina’s World by Andrew Wyeth in 1948. The irony of this (seemingly!) pointless game is based on the real life subject that’s portrayed in the painting — she had polio and couldn’t walk due to the lower half of her body being paralyzed.
Umm, I made it but nothing happens. Bounced her right out the top of the game.
