The graph is a little misleading in that you get the impression that more and more films are about sex and death. However, I would assume that the total number of films has gone up and such a growth would probably be seen by any tag.
Nevertheless, interesting to see the effects of the 60s / 70s.

Yeah, it would be good to see the graphs in relation to total number of films.
It would also be interesting to see what other graphs have similar spikes in the early 70s & 00s. Unemployment? Population & Mortality?
And a third line for films tagged with both. I need to know if death is getting sexier, or perhaps sex deadlier.
Note that sex overtakes death precisely in the miraculous year 1963 (“Between the end of the Chatterley ban/ And the Beatles’ first LP”).
